Hi, Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community. Adobe Acrobat Pro isn't listed as a default program option. This will modify the file ~/.config/mimeapps.list accordingly, at least on Ubuntu 16.04 that is. In order to set Adobe Reader as the default program follow the below steps and check if it helps. Steps:-Click on Start icon and go to Settings. Select System and click on Default apps on the left pane. Search for.pdf file on the list and click on the default app.Ĭlick on Choose default app by file type. pdf file > set default to Adobe Pro control panel > default programs >. When I use Acrobat Pro to open a file I am prompted to set it as the default. pdf > set default to Adobe Pro swipe right edge > settings. After clicking on the 'yes' button I receive a message that acrobat pro could not be the default program. Now hit F5 to refresh Nautilus and your PDF files will finally open with Adobe Reader.
